It is our policy to keep fees to the minimum necessary to maintain the School’s standards and facilities. These are normally reviewed annually at Easter, with any change coming into effect from September. Parents normally receive a term’s notice of any change.

Meal Charges – Day Pupils:

Breakfast: £2.55 per meal

Tea: £3.60 per meal


Extra Charges:

Music (Individual lesson): £158.00 per term

Exam Board fees will be charged to parents at current rate.


Learning Development Unit rates: 

1 Individual lesson per week: £209.00 per term

2 individual lessons per week £367.00 per term

Scribe/Reader: £7.70 per hour

A full term’s written notice addressed to the Headmaster is required on or before the first day of term at the end of which a pupil is to be removed. Otherwise a full term’s fees must be paid in lieu of notice. Such notice will be acknowledged in writing by the Headmaster and only such acknowledgment constitutes acceptance.

Payment Methods:
1. By Cheque:

Three termly payments payable seven working days before term starts. Cheques made payable to ‘Kingsmead School (Hoylake) Trust Ltd’.

2. Direct Payment:

Three termly payments paid directly into the school’s bank account seven working days before the start of term. Bank Account details are shown on the Fee Invoice. If using this method of payment please ensure your Account No. (as shown on the invoice) is entered as the reference.

3. Direct Debit:

Nine direct debit instalments collected on the 5th day (or nearest working day) of: September, October and November for the Autumn Term, January, February and March for the Spring Term and May, June, July for the Summer Term.
There is no charge for this payment method.

Family Discounts:
For parents with two or more children, with at least one child attending the main school, there will be a 10% reduction in tuition fees for the second child and each subsequent child.
