Our next Scholarship day will be held on Friday 15th November
As a registered charity, Kingsmead school is committed to diversity and accessibility for all. Annual scholarships and bursary support are offered ensuring minimal barriers to accessing the bespoke independent education that Kingsmead provides.
Kingsmead School has a long tradition of granting generous scholarship awards. These awards are given in recognition of proven talent in the areas of Sport, Music and Art and allow the candidate to benefit from a range of 10% to 50% reduction of tuition fees. There is also a Scholarship available in the realm of academia – please contact the school directly for information on this process.
A Kingsmead Scholarship is a very prestigious award and we have high expectations of our scholars including a commitment to extra-curricular activities, representation of the school at external events and above all, leadership appropriate to their award.
Scholars may enter the School from any stage, Year 5 onwards.
For entry into Kingsmead School in September 2020, the scholarship process will take place on Friday 15th November 2019, with candidates spending a day at the school. Candidates will meet the Headmaster and during their stay will be assessed by the various heads of departments.
Application forms and further guidance notes are available to download here and returned via email or post to the school by 6th November 2019.
Annual bursaries are awarded to children to take up a place at our school where parents are unable to pay full fees. All bursary support is means-tested, available to children from Reception upwards and can cover up to 100% of school fees.
