International Admissions are Open
Kingsmead has enjoyed a long tradition of welcoming students from overseas.
Kingsmead has enjoyed a long tradition of welcoming students from overseas and this is now being revived. From September 2017 we will once again be able to accept overseas students and will also be hosting parties of foreign students who are visiting Britain on educational tours.
This latter category of visitor will be housed in the main school building, allowing the group to remain together for the duration of the stay; full time pupils who come to Kingsmead from overseas will be paired with families closely associated with Kingsmead, going ‘home’ to them each evening after school to make their education at Kingsmead as close to a home-from-home experience as possible.
Our Strategic Head of International Development is Sajjan Singh. In the first instance, anyone who is interested in developing links with Kingsmead to facilitate overseas students enjoying all the school has to offer should contact either Sajjansingh@www.kingsmeadschool.com or the Headmaster, Mark Gibbons, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Kingsmead School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from 2 – 18 years old. At Kingsmead, developing reading and writing skills starts at age two and every child is heard to read regularly well into Juniors. Foundation 1 and 2 children learn to swim in the pool, have music lessons with a specialist teacher and computer lessons in their own ICT suite.
We are supporting our studnts to achieve their true potential. Kingsmead School is the top performing all-ability school in Wirral at GCSE – and it has received particular praise from ISI inspectors for the pupils’ excellent behaviour, their positive relationships with each other and with staff, the school’s stance on bullying, the dedication of the teaching staff and the strength of school management.
