Boarding Life at Kingsmead

Kingsmead offers wrap around care from 7.50am until 6pm, 5 days a week for 49 weeks of the year for all of our children. This is now further enhanced by the introduction of full and flexi boarding options for children aged 9 and over. This can offer students space and time away from the demands of hectic family life and parents’ work commitments and the ability to have continuity of study without distraction or interruption which in turn will create space for essential quality family leisure time. Ideal for senior pupils in particular.

Our boarders have access to many peaceful study areas, including the extensive leafy grounds in the quiet of the school’s secluded location on the Wirral Peninsula. There are also the school’s excellent sports facilities and heated indoor pool at hand for leisure time.

There are two boarding houses at Kingsmead – Meadway Cottage caters for the Girls and Watts House for the Boys, both with separate House Parents.
