An Independent Day
and Boarding School
for Boys and Girls
aged 2 - 16

Mrs Eaton was born on the Wirral where she now lives. She attended Upton Convent (now Upton Hall School) until the age of fifteen, when she left to complete her ‘A’ levels at Rendcomb College, Gloucestershire.
She then returned to the north-west to study law at Liverpool University, and qualified as a solicitor. While her children were very young, she studied mathematics with the Open University, subsequently completing a PGCE at Chester College. Mrs Eaton joined the Kingsmead staff in 1996.
One of her interests is cross-stitch, which she finds relaxing. Mrs Eaton runs a cross-stitch club at the school for children aged 8 – 16. It is very popular with girls, and a small number of brave young men!
Mrs Eaton feels that Kingsmead is a great place to work because there is an over-riding sense of collective purpose to the community.
