Mrs Davies is a Geordie by birth, remaining there to gain an honours degree in Education at Newcastle University.
Her teaching experience ranges from Lincolnshire to Moscow, settling finally in Hoylake in 1976. Mrs Davies has two daughters, Rachael and Laura, who are Old Kingsmeadians with very happy memories of their student days at the school.
Mrs Davies is currently studying for a qualification in psychometric assessment which she is finding both challenging and stimulating.
Mrs Davies enjoys working at Kingsmead because she feels her role gives her the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the young people in her care.
