Mrs S Barnett

Mrs Sarah Barnett was born in Liverpool, where she was a pupil at King David School.

After leaving there, she crossed the water to train as an NNEB at Birkenhead Sixth Form College, where she also developed an interest in ICT.

She joined Kingsmead initially as a resident boarding assistant with younger children before eventually moving to an ICT support role with the then ICT co-ordinator Mrs Hilary Skinner. Mrs Barnett’s work contributed strongly to the successful development of the computer network across the school.

Mrs Barnett, who, with her husband Ian is a Christian worshipping at Hoylake Chapel, lists cross-stitch, reading, and listening to music as her hobbies. She enjoys working at Kingsmead because her job enables her to help others achieve their aims through the medium of ICT. She loves working with children.
