Mrs C Adamson

Department: Junior

Mrs Adamson was born in Heswall and spent her early years living in Neston as well as her town of birth.

She was a boarder at Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay before moving to complete her sixth form education at Birkenhead High School for Girls. From there, she qualified as a teacher, studying at the College of Ripon and York St John, on the York campus.

Mrs Adamson taught at Bidston Avenue Middle School before moving to Heygarth Junior School in Eastham. From there, she moved to Woodslee Primary School in Bromborough before taking a temporary contract at Holy Trinity School in Hoylake.

Mrs Adamson joined Kingsmead in 1995 and spent her first five years helping lead the boarding community as well as teaching in the Junior Department. She is married to John Adamson, Senior Teacher at the school, and they have a daughter, Rachel, who also attended Kingsmead.

Mrs Adamson has interests in music and plays the piano. She enjoys caravanning in the holidays as well as travelling more widely. She is a Christian worshipping at St Andrew’s Church in Bebington.

Mrs Adamson enjoys Kingsmead because the smaller classes allow her to really help the children in her charge to develop academically, socially and spiritually.
