An Independent Day
and Boarding School
for Boys and Girls
aged 2 - 16

Mr Paganini was born and raised in Islington, North London, attending his local Catholic Junior school, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, before joining the London Oratory Grammar School whose alumni include, among others, two ex-prime ministers. During this time, Mr Paganini was a boy soprano in Brompton Oratory Church Choir.
His love of science took him to University College, London where he completed a B Sc in Physiology, an M Sc in Biochemistry, and two years post-graduate research in Pharmacology for the Science Research Council. His PGCE was awarded after a year at Goldsmith’s College, and he further earned a Post-graduate Diploma in Physics at the University of Westminster.
Mr Paganini worked for five years as medical Publications Editor with a major publisher before taking teaching posts at inner city institutions in London. He worked at three Wirral schools before joining Kingsmead in 1997, where he is Head of Science.
His interests range from foreign travel and Thai food to real ale and rambling. He enjoys Belgian chocolate and dog-walking, but dislikes litter, mindless noise and country and western music. He does enjoy modern jazz, baroque and High Church Choir recitals.
Mr Paganini highlights the special staff–pupil relationship which exists at Kingsmead as a major factor in making the school a great place to work.
