Mr R Ashby

Mr Richard Ashby was educated at Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire before studying Art in Northampton and Liverpool. He graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art, and took up a career in theatre scenery construction as well as taking on private woodwork commissions on a self-employed basis.

Mr Ashby then spent some twenty years teaching in both the primary and secondary sectors in the North West of England before joining Kingsmead to head up the new Design Technology department.

His hobbies are broad and include visiting museums and art galleries as well as enjoying a wide-ranging spectrum of music. He is a keen e-Bay member, and plays a mean frame of snooker!
