Mrs Roberts graduated with a degree in Nutrition in 1992 (Leeds) and went on to complete her PGCE at LJMU in 1993.

Her first teaching post was at Upton-by-Chester High School where after two years subject teaching she took on the role of Assistant Year Head.

In 1998 she moved to Lincoln Minster School where she became Head of Food Science, teaching up to and including A level. It was whilst in this post she was given an award for her contribution to teaching by The British Nutrition Foundation, awarded by HRH The Princess Royal.

Whilst in Lincoln she embarked on a year long course in ‘SEN and inclusion’ at Lincoln University and during that time spent a year working in an EBD unit.

In 2004 she took a position at Kingsmead and initially taught English to the International pupils. In 2010 she became the SEN coordinator. In 2015 she stepped down from this position and moved back into mainstream teaching.

In her spare time she enjoys chicken keeping, playing the flute and entertaining family and friends. It is her dream to eventually own a campervan and travel the world!
