Speech Day plans

The final arrangements for this year's Speech Day on Saturday July 14 have now been made.

The day will get underway at 9.30am when the Choir processes into Founders Hall to start the traditional end to the school year with the Service of Thanksgiving. The speaker will be Buddy Owen from Hoylake Chapel. At 10.30am there will be tea and coffee served on the Terrace before the start of Prize Giving at 11am. Guest speaker will be Bryan Mason, Director of Higher Sports Limited.

Following the presentation of prizes, family picnics will get underway at 1pm, then at 2pm the traditional adults versus pupils cricket and rounders matches will begin… the annual, much-anticipated opportunity for pupils and adults to indulge the rivalry of the generations!

The day - and school year - will end with tea on the Terrace for all at 3.30pm.
