Venturezone

Venturezone is THE holiday club for young people ages 9-13 who like to get active!

Based on the Kingsmead School campus during the three major school holidays of Easter, Summer and Christmas, at Venturezone the emphasis is on having lots of fun, making new friends, and learning through active participation.

Pupils and non-pupils are welcome to join and there are brilliant facilities to keep even the liveliest fully occupied: there are well-equipped buildings, ICT room, Art Room, Big Screen Theatre, enormous Playing Field, Tennis Court, Heated Pool… and minibuses available for day trips and excursions to Laserquest, ten pin bowling and other attractions.

Here’s why Venturezone is ideal for your 9-13s… and for parents:

• It is at school, but it's not a bit like school! Venturezone is relaxed with fun activities that children really want to do, whether or not their parents are in work
• There’s toast time in the morning, hot chocolate and biscuits in the afternoon
• Venturezone has a chill out room, computer room, sports, golf, tennis, football, dance, trampolining, archery, swimming, first aiding, photography, cooking, art and design, magical illusion, balloon design, big screen films, bike safety and riding and outdoor play… and MUCH more
• Opening times are 8.30am to 5pm with the option of extending the day to 6pm for just an extra £4 per day (making Venturezone much cheaper than similar holiday clubs, which charge up to £16 extra per day)
• Venturezone offers half days from 8.30am to 12.45pm or 12.45pm to 5pm.

Venturezone Charges

The charge for a full day (8.30am - 5pm) is £28 per young person, with an additional hour until 6pm - if needed to help meet family work commitments - at just £4. A half day is £15. A whole week booking (5 days) is £112.

Food

Young people should bring a packed lunch if they have booked for a full day, unless the programme states otherwise. Please label sandwiches and other perishable items with the child's name as these are removed from lunchboxes on arrival to be refrigerated during the morning.
