Grandparents' Day 2012

Dear Parents

As you will know on Thursday 21 June 2012 we will be hosting our Grandparents’ Afternoon here at Kingsmead from 2-4pm.

What we are trying to achieve is the opportunity to allow our students to show off Kingsmead to their extended family. It is always good to have time to look around Kingsmead and have a feeling of how our children get to spend their day. Please be reassured that those who have sadly lost their grandparents, or whose grandparents are unable to attend, are encouraged to invite other family members, to join them instead.

Our programme is as follows

2– 3pm         Welcome reception and guided tour (by the grandchildren with help from senior pupils where necessary).

3pm              Headmaster Welcome and songs from Junior and Intermediate choirs

3.30pm         Tea and scones

Please do encourage your wider family to join us on Thursday and please will you fill in the slip below and ask your child to return it to their Form Tutor by Monday 18 June 2012.
