All achievement is celebrated at Kingsmead.

We applaud outstanding academic achievement. We thrill at sporting success.

But we positively raise the roof at exemplary effort. We prize this, the highest achievement of all: no-one can ask more of a child and no accolade can be more proud.

Whatever a child’s gifts and talents, they are sought and nurtured within our school. Every single child has the opportunity to achieve, to shine. All are encouraged to raise, and raise again their expectations of themselves.

And when they do, their peers, their teachers, the whole community, are on hand to let them know how well they have done.

When you look at the lists of achievements in the following pages, look most closely at the pupils who have won prizes for effort put in, for improvement made and for the sense of community which will single them out in adult life.

Above all others, we applaud them.
