Degrees of Distinction

Arjun Chandna, Laura Davies and Richard Skinner are the latest in a line of high flying academic success stories from Kingsmead.

Arjun Chandna graduated from Gonville and Caius College Cambridge with a first class honours in Natural Sciences. Arjun’s degree was earned with the top mark awarded in 2008 in his subject.

Laura Davies, who was in Arjun’s year group at Kingsmead and who performed outstandingly well at Kingsmead at GCSE level, also earned a first class honours from a top university – Sheffield – in Psychology, whilst classmate Richard Skinner , a county standard rugby player, was awarded a 2.1 in Economics at Durham.

The Kingsmead community is delighted by these further successes and is celebrating each of these remarkable young people.
