The Juniors were very lucky to have an assembly led by the characters from Narnia, who came into school and reminded them about the story from their earlier visit to St George’s Hall.

They then acted out the final part of the story, where Aslan is killed but then comes back to be the King of Narnia – which, of course, is C S Lewis’s metaphor for the Easter story.

It was a real pleasure to welcome the actors to Kingsmead and the children were transfixed by the characters performing the story at such close proximity.
