KINGSMEAD Community Choir was established over six years ago by Christine Smith. The idea was to encourage those who had never sung in a choir before to have a go, alongside some more experienced singers. Chris believes that everyone can sing – maybe not at the Royal Albert Hall, but we’re all given a voice…

The choir has members from inside and outside the Kingsmead Community. Currently the members are pupils and ex-pupils, members of staff and ex-members of staff, parents and ex-parents, governors, employees, friends and friends of friends. We even have whole families involved.

We come together on a Monday evening at Kingsmead School in Hoylake and sing from 7pm – 8pm, and often get together for purely social reasons, when we seem to eat a great deal of cake!

We’re a really friendly bunch and would warmly welcome any new members. If you’re interested, please contact Christine Smith on 07742 926 083, or Kingsmead School on 0151 632 3156.

We love to sing. If you do too, you’ll fit in perfectly.
